The blocks of flats in Zurich Höngg are replacement buildings, which Felix Partner was able to realise as a pilot project with an investment company established specifically for this purpose.  The first of the three houses integrates into the existing row of houses on the street. The two other houses are lined up as point blocks on the small plot along the edge of the slope. In front of these extends a development-restricted zone with green spaces and gardens. Thanks to the large distances between the buildings, the views of nature afforded to the neighbouring buildings is preserved and the space remains open. The new buildings share this benefit:  as each flat covers an entire floor, it gets sunlight from multiple sides. The proportions and the clear volumetric positioning give this ensemble an urban presence. The sliding shutters and the colour scheme provide diversity.
