A village is developing at the intersection of Baslerstrasse and Flurstrassen in Zurich, which is creating added value for the entire district. A "district courtyard" enclosed on three sides and opening up into Baslerstrasse will become part of a local promenade as a spatial expansion of the planned city boulevard. This courtyard is surrounded by a five-story base structure, leading up to a tower which mushrooms 70 meters into the sky. The high-rise is positioned as an orientation point at the intersection of Baslerstrasse and Flurstrasse, as a clear symbol extending beyond the Letzi District. The project is highly versatile. The residential units in the tower will be sold as condominiums and those in the base construction rented out. The commercial premises, which face the district courtyard and are accessible to the public, are also part of the base structure. This is intended as a new high-quality offering for district residents and outsiders.
